The Board and stewards of Local 17 were saddened to learn of the passing of Royal Brockenton in March 2022. Mr. Brockenton was a highly valued member of the Mail & Intake branch of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals who was proud to serve Veterans and their families. Local 17 wishes to express its sincere appreciation for Mr. Brockenton’s loyal support of Local 17 and his work at the Board. Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends and coworkers.
