As our AFGE National VA Council negotiating team led by Council President Alma Lee and representing 283,000 workers at the Department of Veterans Affairs continue contract negotiations, the Dept of Veterans Affairs released a series of recommendations to the AIR Commission that will close VA hospitals all over the country and cause massive privatization destroying the promise made to our nation’s heroes, our veterans, to provide them the care they earned and deserve.
Let’s rally together in support of and in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the VA as we fight to care for our veterans and for our workers.

Transportation from hotel: Buses will be provided for transportation to and from rally. Assemble outside the Hyatt main entrance at 11 am.
