Terminated from VA? Share Your Experience with Congress

If you have been terminated from VA since January 20, 2025, your experience is important. The U.S. House Veterans’ Affairs Democrats (an account managed by Ranking Member Mark Takano | House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs) recently shared a call for terminated VA employees to come forward on X (formerly Twitter), seeking firsthand accounts of these terminations. The House Veterans’ Affairs Committee is gathering information to assess the impact of these decisions on Veterans, VA employees, and their families.

By sharing your story, you can help inform congressional oversight and provide critical insight into how these administrative actions are affecting the VA workforce and the services provided to Veterans. If you or someone you know has been terminated from VA, now is the time to speak up.
