Thursday, February 15, 2024, was a memorable day as we gathered for AFGE Local 17’s Black History Month Brunch in the VA Canteen at VA’s Central Office. The event was a beautiful celebration of the enduring legacy and invaluable contributions of African Americans to our history and society.
We were thrilled to see so many faces, both familiar and new. The turnout was heartwarming, and the sense of community was wonderful. It’s events like these that remind us of the strength and beauty in our diversity and shared history.
