Open Season Checklist for Federal Employees

Government Executive recently published an article about all the changes to federal health insurance plans. As they point out, we will be seeing the largest premium increase in 10 years so you really should take a look at your plan and see what, if anything has changed. The article mentions that it isn’t just the premiums that are changing, but many of the plan options are changing as well. Some for the better, some for the worse.

I checked my plan and noticed that a number of new things were being offered, but many of the premiums I have to pay were increased as well. It’s definitely a mixed bag for me.
